Volunteer Lunch Club Cook

Thinking of helping out at Lunch Club? It's easier than you think! There are four cooks for each session, one prepares the main course, two prepare the vegetables and one prepares the pudding. Most dishes are prepared at home and brought to the Church Rooms. Any new volunteers are given lots of help with tips on quantities etc. We serve an average of 28 meals per session. You will be reimbursed for the cost of any ingredients as the members' contribution covers the full cost of the meal.

It's a lovely way to make a difference to the lives of our elderly members and they very quickly become friends! If you feel that you could help us (you decide how often; it can be once a year or more) we would be very happy to welcome you on board.

We look forward to hearing from you. Please contact Jane Pitts (01590 682 742) or Deborah Walker (01590 681 014).
