Financial Help

SWAG can provide two types of financial help:

Help in an Emergency

We provide help to individuals and families with grants towards a variety of items. In the past we have helped pay for arrears of rent or Council Tax, school trips, nursery places, replacement boilers, replacement carpets, car repairs, food bills and a host of other items.

Help with Winter Heating Costs

We provide regular help for eligible people with twice-yearly grants towards heating costs in December & March. The maximum total annual grant is currently £450.

We help people of all ages either living on their own or with young families.

If you need our help either in an emergency or with heating costs, please contact us and one of our trustees will visit you and your family to discuss your requirements in total confidence.

Please call our Help Line – 01590 681 500 to make an appointment.
